Why should I sign up?

You don't need to sign up in order to use OPEN-BASH.org. You may even insert new contents without registration. However, signing up gives you some nice little additional features.

When inserting Bashes, your user name will be shown. So you get attributed for your contribution. Furthermore, in order to prevent spam only registered users may post comments.

If you got problem rating Bashes, this might be because you're using dynamic or shared IP address. In order to prevent fake votes we only allow one vote per IP address and Bash for a certain amount of time. When logged in, you may vote even if someone else already "used up" your IP.

Signing up for OPEN-BASH.org is completely free! Of course, we take your privacy seriously. Your e-mail will not be sold to spammers nor will any of your data be disclosed to anyone outside our admin team.
